ABOUT THE PROJECT
The ARTISAN project focuses on the development of a training programme to enhance entrepreneurial skills and competences within agro-tourism and artisan family businesses
Purpose of this web-platform: To provide information, tools and resources to support and enhance the delivery of the Artisan entrepreneurial programme.
This platform supports connections between learners and learning through interactions by setting up dedicated forums for online discussions and the exchange of best practices.
Audience: Founders, owners, and successors from agro-tourism and artisan family businesses.
Training Modules: The training program includes 5 modules, delivered in the following sequential order:

Methodology to Learning: Learners can learn via a blend of offline and online provisions and tools, in the following sequence:
Pre-module
A preparatory stage, where learners can access material (e.g. presentations, cases, videos) in advance of their training.
Module
This stage expects learners to participate physically in the training sessions provided by the Artisan team.
Post-Module
Post-training self-reflection and opportunities to discuss (via forum) module experiences and best practices with other participants.

Transgenerational Family Entrepreneurship
This training module is focusing on ‘Transgenerational Family Entrepreneurship’. It emphasises the significance of viewing the family as a key entrepreneurial actor in the family business. Senior and junior family members working together as an entrepreneurial team in identifying, evaluating, and seizing new opportunities leading to family business sustainability and expansion.
Strategic Planning & Operationalisation Toolkit
The main learning objective of the module is that family members acquire practical knowledge about the Strategic Management of their small agro-tourism/artisan family business. The purpose is that they know how to design their own strategic plan to formulate and implement the most appropriate strategy for their business. We offer tools to design the strategy.
