1ST ADVISORY BOARD MEETING IN CYPRUS
On the 31st of January 2017 the Advisory Board of Cyprus had its 1st Meeting during which the ARTISAN project was presented by UCLan Cyprus and GrantXpert Consulting. The meeting took place at the Environmental Information Center of Larnaka Mountainous Area, Skarinou Village and lasted 2 hours.
During the meeting the members of the Advisory Board had the opportunity to learn about the main aim of the project, its objectives, its innovative elements and its expected outcomes and results. Great emphasis was given on the results of the Intellectual Output 1 entitled: State of the art and policy recommendations, which was developed by the consortium of partners. The members of the ARTISAN team presented the main findings resulting from the IO1 and asked from the Advisory Board Members to make suggestions, comments and share their point of view.

All members of the Cyprus Advisory Board expressed their interest in ARTISAN programme, highlighting the benefit for the youth generation in family businesses in the artisan and agro-tourism sectors, once the ARTISAN Training Programnme, the ARTISAN Online Platform and the Casebook are developed. Furthermore, the members of the Board expressed their willingness to review the first version of the Training Package once this is ready and provide concrete and specific suggestions and feedback.
