ARTISAN Final Dissemination Event in Spain
On July 12th, 2018 the team of the University of Castilla-La Mancha organized an act of presentation of results and dissemination of the ARTISAN Project to an audience formed by entrepreneurs, founders, owners, managers, professionals, advisors, political leaders, social agents, successors, senior members and young people from family businesses of agro-tourism and artisan. The event took place in the Delegation of the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha, in the city of Albacete (Spain).
Prof. Jiménez welcomed the attendees and presented the most relevant points of the project (ARTISAN’s objectives, ARTISAN’s partners, ARTISAN training program, ARTISAN Casebook and videos, etc.), the main results and the ARTISAN training platform.
Afterwards, Ms. Belén Montoya, invited as a lecturer, presented the main lines of the Regional Strategic Plan for Tourism and Artisan. She is head of Service in the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). Many actions of the strategic plan aimed at businesses in the agro-tourism and artisan sector coincide with the objectives of the ARTISAN project, so which are complementary approaches.
The event continued with the interventions of the participants and a panel discussion. Finally, Prof. Jiménez presented the main conclusions. After that the attendees enjoyed a cocktail in which they could socialize and make new contacts.
