ARTISAN project at International Fair of Handicraft in Lisbon
On the 28th of June, the Portuguese partner - University of Beira Interior - will present the ARTISAN project at International Fair of Handicraft in Lisbon. This Fair is the biggest Intercultural Festival in the Iberian Peninsula.
The aim of this activity is to promote and present the main objectives of the ARTISAN project to relevant stakeholders. The ARTISAN project will be able to achieve the following important target groups: Portuguese Government Entities, Experts, Portuguese artisans and Agro-tourism Associations, Local Family Businesses, Micro, Small and Medium-sized enterprises and general audience.
The presentation of the project will take place in the Auditorium of Pavilion 1 at 6:00 p.m.
“The FIA Lisbon – International Fair of Handicraft is an excellent platform for promoting Identity and Development of the National Territory and Foreign namely the Economic level, Cultural and Tourism. It supports regional development and local cultures, through various aspects of Cultural Heritage Material and Immaterial: crafts, gastronomy, natural resources, cultural and tourist activities, among others, looking for evidence Micro, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, related entities and Official Bodies the projects aimed at the promotion and dissemination of the Territories, as well as the sale of regional products; It is the biggest Intercultural Fair in the Iberian Peninsula. It brings to the capital, professionals and lovers of handmade crafts, arts and design, agents of the traditional food area, as well as people interested in crafts as a cultural manifestation.”
