ARTISAN Train the Trainers Workshop in Palermo
On the 27th of November 2017, the consortium of partners of ARTISAN project which is consisted by organisations from Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, Spain and Cyprus met at Palermo for the ARTISAN Train the Trainers workshop.
The workshop lasted 5 days and took place at the University of Palermo with the participation of 6 trainers from 5 different countries. The main aim of this workshop was to give the opportunity to the persons who will act as trainers in the pilot testing seminars that will be organised in each participating country in the following months to meet face to face and train each other to the modules that they have developed.
Furthermore, the trainers had the opportunity to discuss in depth the structure and the methodology of the ARTISAN Training Programme, to exchange ideas and share their knowledge and experiences regarding the topic under examination. Each one trained the others in the subject matter that has an expertise and for which he/she was responsible to develop the training content. The Train the Trainers workshop helped the trainers to better understand the project, its structure and methodology, to ensure that the training material is coherent and that there is no overlapping. At the same time, the trainers had the opportunity to review and discuss in depth the Handbook for the trainers and the case studies with the relevant videos that each partner developed.
After the completion of the workshop, the trainers had the opportunity to visit different places in Sicily and also they were able to visit artisan family businesses.
It was a really fruitful week and great work was done by all partners involved!
