Quinta da Bica

Quinta da Bica, established in Seia, has its origins in a convent that existed between 1550 and 1650. The company has belonged to the Sacadura Botte family since the 17th century and since then the wine has been produced in this 100 hectare agricultural property. Quinta da Bica complements their business by providing lodgments and experiences to tourists and focuses their action in niche markets that allow it to sell all production to a few number of customers in Portugal and abroad. Therefore, the extended case study and the related video show how passion, focus on quality and niche markets allow Quinta da Bica to be a successful business for generations

Key words: Wine production, differentiation, niche markets
