ICT ENTREPRENEUR: Honorable Mention at CIEM2015

Following the success of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Conferences on Entrepreneurship, the 5th Conference took place in Oeiras, Portugal, on 15, 16 and 17 October 2015.

CIEM2015 is a yearly conference aiming at:

Disseminating entrepreneurship as a vector of economic growth
Promoting cross-border Entrepreneurship, promoting cooperation and closeness among peers in the Iberian Peninsula;
Becoming a reference within the context of Entrepreneurship in the Iberian Peninsula, bridging the gap between the two countries in both academic and business areas;
Creating strategic alliances between academia and the Iberian business community.

There is a huge Organization and Scientific Committee behind the event. Many articles were submitted during those conference days, including our article “Preparing an Entrepreneurship Course to ICT Students – A European University-Business Alliance Project Presentation” (Arminda Paço, Mário Raposo, João Ferreira and Joana Vaz) which publicly received an honorable mention.

Furthermore, as the paper was presented on the 16th of October, this event turned out to be a very good opportunity to disseminate the project among tens of successful entrepreneurs and academics from all over Portugal and Spain.
