Development of the ICT ENT Training Package

ICT ENT team members are working hard for the preparation of the ICT ENTREPRENEUR Educational Training Package! Our aim is to prepare a high quality educational package helping ICT students and graduates to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Based on the national and consolidated evaluation reports from the scientific team of the consortium, we are developing the first draft of the ICT ENTREPRENEUR Training programme.

The programme will include in-class lectures, role plays, practical exercises and games, visits to companies and guest speakers' lectures. The programme will be short in duration, serving as a pre-accelerator programme. The participants will be given the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary teams, under the guidance of academic faculty, employers/managers, investors and entrepreneurs, who will be involved as trainers, guest speakers and mentors.

Specific instructions and guidance for all these stages will be provided in the train the trainers’ handbook developed as part of the ICT ENTREPRENEUR Training Programme.

Moreover, real case studies and success stories will be included in the handbook. All entrepreneurial case studies used will be focused on science-based and high-technology examples, such as nano-science, technological breakthroughs (new mobile apps, software, ecommerce, etc), engineering works, sophisticated algorithms, etc.

A train the trainers workshop will be organised in Cyprus by EUC once the first version of the package is ready, to explain the format and the content of the training and clarify important issues.

The pilot testing seminars will be announced in the following months!
